I am a 25 year old from Wiltshire and I am currently on maternity leave from my career as a full time company secretary for a family run construction company. The last few months have been the most exciting and challenging of my life so far!

We bought our Zia Stroller for travel purposes only. We have an iCandy Apple travel system which, although excellent, was too large to take on holiday. We also didn't want it to get damaged via baggage handling.
We looked at several other pushchairs - including the Quinny Zapp. However, this and others were not suitable as they did not lie flat...at the time of our holiday to Lanzarote, our daughter was 13 weeks old and unable to sit upright. Also, newborns must be able to lie completely flat to aid respiration and ensure that their spine's are not contorted. (It is only reccommended that they stay in a car seat for no more than 2 hours at a time due to the pressure it puts on their lungs and spine.)So, after much deliberation, and 'test drives' up and down the store, we opted for the Petite Star Zia Stroller. Our main considerations were:
It's ability to lie completely flat
It's lightweight frame and compact folding (small enough to take as 'carry on' baggage with most airlines.
The price
Remember, our considerations were purely for travel purposes only. We were very pleased with our choice and as a travel buggy this was fabulous, if only for the light weight of it. Our apartment was on the first floor and my partner was able to lift the buggy, with the baby in, up the few steps on his own - it really was light! It was nippy, easy to push and steer and the harness was easily adjustable and suited to either a newborn or older child. The back adjustment was also easy to use, just a simple strap to adjust the recline.
We purchased our buggy for £130.00 and although not extremely cheap for a travel buggy, it is worth the money.
I however, would not even consider this for an everyday buggy. The basket really is TINY and, with a newborn lying flat, it is almost impossible to access as you have to 'lift' the baby up to get into the basket. It's not really feasible to hang anything more than a small handbag from the handles either - for fear of it tipping due to it's super lightweight frame. I would certainly not have been able to hang a changing bag from the handles OR fit one in the basket. However, as I have said before, we were on holiday and I literally took a change of clothes, 2 nappies and a pack of wipes out with me each night which fitted in the basket perfectly. We never went far enough from the apartment to warrant taking any more.
Another major consideration when buying our 'everyday' buggy was the handle height. I am 5'3" and my husband is 6'3" - therefore an adjustable handle height was essential. The Zia doesn't have any adjustment however, it was perfect for me and adequate for my husband...he would struggle on an everyday basis though.
I think we will find this buggy better as our daughter grows.....it was sometimes difficult to 'bump' her up and down kerbs as your knees tend to bash in to the back of the pushchair (and consequently the baby!) if she is lying flat. Also, when in a more upright position, the basket will be more accessible.
All in all, this was a fab travel accessory, but nothing more.

Advantages: Good value, folds up incredibly small, lightweight, suitable from birth Disadvantages: Not very sturdy, prone to tipping if overloaded. Basket is so small it's useless!
Advantages: Light, compact, folds down small, seat reclines fully. Disadvantages: Small shopping basket that's difficult to access when seat is reclined.
