This review is for the website www.petmeds.co.uk. Who Are Pet Meds? The website is basically designed to give people a different way of purchasing veterinary care for their animals. When you want to buy a product from the vet there always seems to be hidden costs and the prices always seem to rise rather than fall. This website is designed so that people can visit and try and make a saving if they possibly can and they only sell licensed products. Pet Meds Online. ~ Why buy your pet medicine online? ~ First of all, I would like to say that this review isn't to encourage anyone to not use your vets if there is a problem with your animal. In fact I would say only use this site, if you were absolutely sure of the product you need - but if there is any doubt as to what your pet might be suffering with, please don't self diagnose. However, this site also allows for prescriptions from the Vets - which I will explain some more later. So, why go to an online site to buy medications for your animal? Quite simply the costs. Advantages Great delivery, good site to navigate around, cheap deals compared to others
Disadvantages None at all.

For those of you that have a pet I am sure that you will agree with me when it comes to paying for Vet's bills and various treatments for your pets the cost soon start adding up. On a trip to the Vets to get my cat his boosters I mentioned that he needed another course of his usual flea prevention treatment. I could not remember what I had paid for the last packet but when the Vet told me the cost I was horrified, I was sure that the cost had gone up dramatically. After leaving the flea treatment on the Vet's shelves as I did have a month's flea treatment left I mentioned the rising cost to a ... more

Advantages Competive prices, comprehensive stock range.
Disadvantages Bad communication and slow delivery.

I've ordered a few times from Petmeds.co.uk. The stock selection is good as well as the item descriptions, and so are the prices (I've only ordered non-prescription goods from them). The site also has the ability for reviewing the items - which I always find helpful and like to see on a website. However communication and delivery times are not great. Their website says they aim to dispatch within two days and delivered the next day - however my experience recently has been slower than that. Which isn't brilliant for an online company. They also don't sent you any emails if the order is delayed ... more
