I normally buy all hammy products in my local Wilkinson store as I shop there on a regular basis and they offer quite a vast range of pet products at excellent prices. However on my last trip around my local Poundland shop I noticed that they too are starting to bring out a range of pet food and accessories from dog leads and tins of food to fish flakes and squeaky toys. At the end of the display to my delight I found a huge bag of Hamster and Gerbil mix weighing in at 1.25kg!
I can vouch for the fact that my hamsters at least are not the slightest bit fussed that it doesn’t carry a designer label or trendy wrapping as they’ve almost finished their first bag of it.
This mix is coarse and contains everything you would expect our rodent companions to happily nibble such as nuts, variety of seeds, those red, orange and green round biscuity things and more. Unfortunately I’m not up on what every ingredient is (as you may have guessed!) but I trust that if it says Hamster food on the front then it’s suitable and they’ll eat it, I’ve had no complaints yet, lol and at £1 you can’t go wrong.
