I was brought up in a household with Yorkshire Terriers when I was younger! Being small dogs they never really were all that into really rough play with their tiny jaws but the largest one, Zach well he loved to play with his rags as we called them and my Mum always bought them from Pets At Home through the years due to her trusting in the quality of them. This is why I bought mine and my mates shared dog...Daisy the beautiful poodle her own 'rags', well knotted rope as its meant to be reffered to! I always liked these and never had any issues with them and felt that they were safe and at a pound a rope (for the small one and the larger one vary in prices from £3.00-£3.99 by the way) I grabbed her one of them to try out and she loves them!
Basically all it is, is a plaited centre of two colours of cotton. We have the red and bright yellow option in this though a green coloured one was available when I got this too and then at the end the you get loose but attached of course long strands of cotton which are really soft. Its all rather soft really but the centre piece holding all the strands is harder and very tough so Daisy can sink her teeth well into it and have some fun.Initially when you see this I'm sure you will think it isn't very strong. Like I say we have the small one and this has presented no issues at all for us and although Daisy beats it up and knocks it about big time it shows no signs of any damage at all in the few months now she has had it.
The only issue I have with this toy is Daisys slober on it and her wanting me to pull it and play tug with her...its disgusting but on the upside I pop this in the wash regulary for a freshen up and again I have no issue with this on that score either thankfully. This is a robust and rather safe toy for Daisy and I think I would go as far to say this is her most favourite toy out of loads that she owns at the moment and it has turned out to be a very good and cheap, quality buy for her and if you hurry these are currently on offer at buy 2 get one free which means for the smaller ones you get 3 of them for two quid and thats a fab price!
