    Advantages Advantages Very nippy about town, electric roof controls

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Very cramped inside

    I bought this car 18 months ago and so far my views are a bit mixed. Its very nippy around town, economical (averages about 45 miles per gallon) and when the turbo kicks in, is like s**t of a shovel! Mine is red and I have to say people do stare at me in it, its an attractive car, especially with the top down! The roof is easy to put down, simply a push of a button, however you do have to plan in advance and pull the shelf over in the boot first, not good if you're going shopping as it halves the boot size. I find with the top down and windows up I don't get Bridget Jones hair - which is ... more

    Okay .... sold my 2.0 ford probe due to reliability and mechanical problems ... and bought right back into just as much! I do love this car .... and maybe I am just used to the old way of making cars (I.e cheap fixes) ..... but some of the components attached to this car p***s me off slightly ...... Firstly....... I HATE the dual mass flywheel ... I luckily was able to get this replaced (after having car for a month at 49K) very cheaply at £550 .. this did include the clutch ........ it would normally cost in the region of £800 to fix.
