The electric blue SE Verve model of this car is fantastic. The tax is only £35 per year, and it costs £40 to fill the tank. Running around town, you can get 100 miles for every £10 of fuel, and usually 280 miles for £15 of fuel on a motorway long run. The steering is very responsive and light to drive. The gear box does sound a little bit clunky, but I have been assured that this is normal. To buy this car would be a good investment. Not only is it nippy, it is also easy to drive, looks good and very reliable. The acceleration is surprisingly quick, being able to keep up happily with a friend's Golf GT TDi (until the turbo kicks in)! The features are simple and easy to use and understand. The lay out of the dash means that it is all within reach from the drivers seat and there is also an extra few buttons behind the steering wheel so you don't have to reach across to the stereo. This car is perfect french engerniring. I own one in lightnig blue it looks and feels great. Perfect Handling due to it being front wheel drive,and can get from 0 to 60mph in less than 10 seconds only if you drive like a mad man. You can get 50 MPG if you drive normally but if you drive carefully you get 65 MPG. The standard model (which is the one i have at home) is perfect it has more power than the 1.1, 1.2 or1.3 petrol. The 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3 petrol are rubish theywobel break down all the time and you get if you drive carefull you get 35 MPG in the 1.1 39 MPG in the 1.2 40MPG in the 1.3, But ... more
