Advantages: Small, feature rich, nippy, economical Disadvantages: not much luggage space, feels bouncy at speed
My trusty peugeot estate reached the time when it had to go for its 84000 service and it was due to be a long one so the garage gave me a 207 as a courtesy car.
Always keen to try someting different, and with a full day's work ahead of me I threw the most important tools and spares in the back and set off.

The only thing I had to do was adjust the seat, the controls for this are the same as the 307 so this didn't take long.

The performance around town is lively and the engine is quiet. The main display shows you how many miles range you have left in the fuel tank and it seemed to be quite accurate, deducting 200 miles from the shown display after I had driven it for 195 miles.
The Air conditioning is very good for a small car, and unlike the Vauxhall Corsa I drove last year, switching it on did not affect the car's performance. The in car audio is of a good quality, the radio was clear and CD reproduction excellent, no need for expensive upgrades there.
The downsides? For a travelling service engineer there isn't a great deal of boot space and at motorway speeds it felt a bit light and bouncy.
The front doors are very long, allowing plenty of room for leg swinging, something that may appeal to older or disabled drivers. The doors closed easily, without the need for slamming. All in all the build quality seemed very good, although it has to be said that, when I picked the car up it had less than a 1000 miles on the clock.
Reliability Well I drove it for 200 miles and 1 day and it was fine, can't comment about long term.
Safety There were all the usual features, seat belts, air bags, excellent all round visibility and good responsive brakes.
Spaciousness Front seats are fine, plenty of leg room, the back seat looked to be very close to the front and the boot is tiny
Comfort OK, I wouldn't want to drive it to Scotland and back but OK for short journeys
Road Handling Parks in a space 9 inches longer than the car, corners like a dream, a real fun drive.
Customer Service This applies to the dealership more than the car, my local dealer is great.
Security The remote central locking is responsive and operates frm a good distance, the auto-locking feature is a nice touch.
Looks OK, I've never been one to get excited about cars, women do more for me in that department!
Features Great. this car has features that used to be the preserve of top of the range motors.
Fuel Consumption
The 1.2 litre petrol engine gave me in excess of 50 MPG which is good for a petrol car.
My recomendation? Not for serious long distance driving, too small and bouncy at speed, for town driving however you would go a long way to beat it, parks anywhere, turns on the proverbial sixpence (2.5 P to you youngsters) and take off from the lights with aplomb. I took it through the New Forest and it handled the lanes like a dream.
The peugeot 207 is not a good car at all the the first problem with the car was that it would not start later found out that it was the engine temperature sensor had gone after the car only doing 7000 mile this is not the news you want to hear about a reasonably new car i found this very annoying as the window was open on the car and t was starting to rain and also the car had went into economy mode so this meant i could not close the window the ...

Review of Peugeot 207 1.2
Advantages: looks great, stands out in a crowd, spacious Disadvantages: cost - be prepared to haggle!
...Clio and before that a Peugeot 206. I looked at the new Yaris and didn't like the interior, the new Fiat Punto I thought was nice from the outside but cheap and plasticy inside and a bit of a bumpy drive. I went to look at the new Clio which I thought I was going to like, but was dissapointed with the basic interior and I actually thought it was a step back from the older Clio. So feeling disheartened we went to the local peugeot dealer and I can ... ...have got into and thought 'wow I love it!'
So what's so great about it? I think it's very stylish and sporty to look at from the outside and inside it feels expensive, looks great - mine has a lovely dark grey finish and has chrome surrounds on the dials and a chrome insert on the gearstick and is comfy and spacious.
I have the 'S' model 3 door in aluminium silver, it has all the safety features including airbags, ABS, Isofix points for childs ...

I own a Peugeot 207 and it is my first ever car after passing my driving test and it is fantastic I love driving it everywhere. Mine is in black which I think makes it look better. At first I was going to get a 206 but when I saw the 207 I knew I had to have one. The shape makes it look very sporty and the interior is very sophisicated mine is black with red piping on the seats. The only teething problem I had was that the clutch was a little bit ... ...it for a while but I have gotten ust to it so its not a problem anymore. In many small cars you feel like you are sat on the floor but in the 207 you don't for some reason. It also has plently of room in the back and has loads of boot space. The boot come with a elastic strap so that you can put fragile items in it so you don't break it whilst driving which is great if you have glass or milk. It come with air con as standard and a fantastic cd player ...

Advantages: looks beautiful and drives like a bird in the air Disadvantages: too small inside not much room for anything
this beautiful piece of kit made for you by peugeot, the seats are of high quality and the ride was extremely smooth.
it can reach a top speed of 130 miles per hour.
the gear change is nice and smooth you dont even feel it.
its very small though inside not much room for your legs.
but in the boot its quite a decent size nothing huge but not too small at the same time if you get what i mean, it looks like an angry animal but doesnt drive like ... ...sky.
i hope i get quite a good rating on this one because i had to do this one whilst getting driven around in this car all the way to whitby and its hard to concentrate, i hope its good tell me your views.)

Advantages: Smooth and safe ride, pleasurable to drive, good economy Disadvantages: None really - see review for minor "niggles"
1.0 litre Corsa, I didn't really notice how un-nippy my first car had been until it went in for a service and I ended up with a 1.2 SXi Corsa as my courtesy car - THEN I wanted something with a bigger engine!!
The Peugeot207 is actually now basically the new version of the 206 that has been mooching about our roads for many years. The 207 is the new shape for it. Initially I'd gone with an interest in the 206 but the garage chap (and my dad!) persuaded me to go for the 207 which were just in production at that time (September 2007) as the value of any 206 model would depreciate rather rapidly once the 207's became mainstream.
It was handy being in the "queue" essentially to get a brand new car and indeed a new model as it meant I essentially had the pick of the crop. It meant I got to sit in the sales office and pick exactly ...
