I had my car in June and as we drove off we heard a rattle so that was its first trip to the garage, something was wrong with the exhaust. I had a month of fun with it, putting the roof up and down with the flick of a switch is a doddle and my three children fit easily into it. I can put my eight year old in the front as you can turn off the airbag which is rare with most cars. However after a month I noticed the inside of the boot had been crushed by the roof being put up and down. So back it went to the garage, it appeared by the mechanics re-action to be a common fault. I then had a re-call at the same time, something was wrong with the front suspension and a week and a half later it is going back in for another re-call, something else this time to do with the engine. If I could hand the car back and not lose any money I would in a heartbeat. I had a nissan micra before this for twelve years and I never had a moments problem. Yes, the car looks pretty but after nearly four months things aren't going well which doesn't inspire me with hope for its reliablility as it ages. I don't like the steering either, it feels like the car is in control not me, the wheels skid a lot and when I put my foot down to accelerate there is a time delay. Trying to be balanced, as said, the car is pretty, the roof is easy to use, the boot when the roof is on is very spacious and I like the chrome detail inside the car. Love to carry on, but I need to get the car to the garage.....again. Thinkng of buying this car.....DON'T.
Good review and useful to a potential buyer but it isn't clear whether your referring to the 307 CC or the Peugeot 306 Cabriolet pictured. I presume the 307 CC. Please read and rate my review(s)

I someone whos brand new Peugeot had major problems... roof leaked, stearing column had an electical fault etc so lights cut out, or didnt work, it unlocked itself etc. I think they must be rushing their mass production & the quality of each car is decreasing. I hope you get it sorted. Best Regards Craig
