When first pondering onto the car buyers market, I was at odds as to where to start! I had an idea I wanted one of the 'new' Mini's, but a test drive in this mini matchbox soon put paid to that. A friend suggested the 307, as I am quite a tall bloke (6ft3), and they advised me this car has ample room for the taller person. I went for a test drive and I was very impressed. The car is very nippy to pick up speed, has responsive controls and my favourite - still had a sporty look about it that I love!! Compared to the smaller and to be honest (10 a penny) 206, I found this car far superior, well desrving of it's 2001 Car of the Year award. In conclusion, I would recommend this car as ideal for a couple or young family. I own the five door which is great, but has limited legroom in the back for passengers. Can be a bit awkward to handle sometimes, and does feel heavy to drive, but this is nit-picking. Overall a great car, good value with great looks and lots of interior extras.
***1 set of brake pads consists of 4 pads and will fit a full axle either front or back (2 ... more
pads per brake disc).*** The complete aftermarket braking solution. The Mintex range alone includes over 1,250 references in brake pads, over 300 brake shoes, more than 700 discs and 55 brake drums, as well as a complete range of brake system accessories and brake fluids. Developed and engineered to set new standards in aftermarket friction, Mintex brake pads provide the optimum balance of performance and extended service life.As vehicle speeds continue to increase, the demands placed on the brakes become greater. However, this is just one of the reasons why TMD Friction continues to improve the specification of Mintex friction. With the recent introduction of the European Commission?s Block Exemption Regulations, there is a growing market need for O.E. quality friction products at aftermarket prices.
