Luv the car, not too sure about customer loyalty 6 of 6 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages Comfortable, fun to drive, cheap & reliable

Disadvantages Mileage, economy & performance

Now don't get me wrong I absolutely love this car, I bought it after having one as a courtesy car for a few weeks.

BACKGROUND: I was actually looking to trade my 4 year old 306 in for a C-Class Merc CDi, but then was leant this car by my dealer whilst some work was done on my car. Within 2 weeks I'd done the bargaining and got a cracking deal on the top of the range DTurbo (be sure to go in at the end of their sales quarters in future).

PROS:
-Sporty look (3dr DTurbo with wide alloy wheels).
-This car has a really comfortable seating position (nice quality half-leather finish) and you're higher than most in traffic.
-Turbo Diesel engine (110HP common rail system) - plenty of power and lots of torque.
-Very good deal as they were obviously slightly down on that quarter's sales figures.
-Gadgets, gadgets, gadgets - auto lights/windscreen wipers/stereo volume/shades cubby hole drops down from roof, etc., etc.
-Low insurance grouping due to security features (something ridiculous like 9, which was half the cost of merc anyway).

CONS:
-Thirsty (I get more like average 42-45MPG not the 50 like stated in the glossy brochures - you have to drive like a pensioner on sunday to get anywhere near that).
-Flat spot at low revs - which is bearable as long as you keep the revs up.
-Rear seats a bit cramped.
-Front doors seem huge on my 3dr version.
-Customer service - I was shocked to have my car recalled last month for a software upgrade, it would appear that the computer has been counting kilometers instead of miles and the 10,500 reading is probably more like 8,000. They have offered a token compensation - but I worry more about resaleability. This issue still to be resolved :O(

PS
This bit added for "The-Operator"...
The ride is sweet, nice firm suspension on this sporty little number meaning it corners like it's on rails with an excellent braking system (very reassuring) . Light clutch that doesn't break your leg in heavy traffic. Responsive power steering and the cabin is extremely comfortable with fully automatic climate control.
