Advantages Advantages Space in Abundance Smooth Drive

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Peugeot Dealer

This is my review on the Peugeot 307 SW SE Automatic Reg 53 that I purchased 2 years ago from Peugeots main dealer in Milton Keynes at the cost of £11500 I bought this car because my Peugeot 307 previously was to small for my ever incresing family we are at 5 children now (and 3 kittens). This car falls in a strange catagory some say Estate some MPV others a Van lol. INSURANCE GROUP - 10 ROAD TAX - £104 for 6 months (cheaper if buying 1 year) LOOK AND DESIGN EXTERIOR The 307 SW(Station Wagon) is very sleek and comes with many great features the design is very smooth a short flat back and long ... more

Advantages Advantages Loads of space, surprisingly nippy and a very comfortable ride

Disadvantages Disadvantages In a world of shrinking parking spaces it's a deceptively big car, limited choice of colours.

Let's face it; buying a vehicle which can seat 7 says one of two things about you: 1. You drive a private hire vehicle, haven't had a drink on Saturday night in as long as you can remember and you can identify all the different "flavours" of magic tree air freshener in a blind sniffing test. 2. You're making a compromise between a car you want to drive and something you can ferry a family, and all their collected stuff, around in. To be clear, I'm in category two. So why did I choose the new 307 SW? IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A MINIBUS! That's right - here we have the practicality of the MPV but in ... more

Advantages Advantages Comfortable, spacious and reliable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes up a good part of a parking bay

I have found this car to be excellent. It has plenty of room, including legroom and height, for passengers, both in the back and front, and lots of boot space too. It has also been very reliable, having had no faults with the car in the 2 years I have been driving it. (The only fault I have experienced is with the CD changer which I had as an optional extra.) Economy rate is fairly good for its size, although not outstanding. The choice of colours with interiors was also a little limited. Despite its size, I found it remarkable easy to maneouver and also park. (Actually found it easier than ... more

Advantages Advantages Versatile, Fantastic roof, great specs

Disadvantages Disadvantages Build quality, carpets lifting, returned to garage twice.

This is the best estate car that I have ever driven and as a member of the armed forces traveling long miles with loads of kit I've driven many. This cars seats really do go in/out very easily making for a good sized MPV or a cavenous Estate. Trim and equipment is very good ie 5 disk CD changer with usuall radio and a tape player, an incredable roof that has to be seen. And a very nice drive though the fuel economy in automatic mode is a bit thirsty the tiptronic box brings economy back to a happy level. Only down side is carpets have started to lift, the horn stoped working and the car was ... more

Advantages Advantages Size of cabin, Engine Size

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Unreliable and Unsafe

I bought my peugeot 307 estate for £5000 cash at the start of May 2007, it is now July 1st and my car has been in the car garage no less than 5times for repairs. These have ranged from electrical through to engine problems. At one point the car broke down on a busy road with my 3 children in the car. I am having no joy with Hardies Peugeot as i now want a refund!!! The car is also terrible at handling and I have come close to steering off the road on 2 seperate occasions. As I drive for a living, I have never come across this before. The car is a good size for a family however, as the car is ... more
