Advantages: Great drive, flexibilty of 5-7 seats, economical to run and reliable. Disadvantages: You don't get offered a 7-seater by insurance companies if your in for accident repairs.

When they say it's the drive of your life they mean it, the engine is so quiet you will not realise you have switched it on, not only that at just a £110 to tax for the year its a bargin. There is loads of room leg and width wise in the front, i'm not the smallest of builds but I can comfortably fit in the drivers side without covering the gear-stick! The passengers seat comes with arm rest and there is again plenty of room to relax and enjoy the drive. The back seat is yet again adequately spaced with the option of moving individual seats back or forwards to suit, child seats fit comfortably and there are seatbelt positioners to aid comfort. The extra seating in the boot is a bit more cramped for leg room but adequate for under 12's, leaving plenty of room still for a medium sized pram in the boot. Behind the driver & passenger seats there are trays which have drinks holders that are a fraction too big for kids juice bottles. If you are not using the middle back seat you can fold this forward and this becomes a table with drinks holders and a pocket for storage. This diesel model is very economical to run, we go from Manchester to London and back on a full tank (approx £45.00) which approx 450 miles give or take a few. There is a panoramic view sunroof that provides partial or full screen coverage. 12V sockets in both front and rear of vehilcle. When not in use the rear seats fold up behind the back seat to provide a hugh boot space. For a big car she is very nippy and is quick away at lights and can give a sports job a run for it's money on the motorway. The flexiblity of being able to go from 5 to 7 seats out weighs by far any glitches you may have with this car. My next car will most definately be another one of these!

Quick review of Peugeot 307 SW 2.0 HDi
Despite of all the problems with my SW 2.0HDi, I still rate this car as good. It's great fun driving. Always enough power. Problems I've had during warranty period: Clutch, hatch lock, anti pollution sensor. After the warranty period, I've had the central lock system changed in one door. Also I had a complete "breakdown" where the engine wouldn't start, and no systems worked. This was solved by a software upgrade (!) Now it runs with no problems at all. ...

...When I went onto a Peugeot 307 forum, there were so many horror stories of people with the same problem and they`d had the cleaning and sensor replacement done, only to find that the fault still existed. I decided to contact Peugeot directly and they said that there was nothing that they could do because the dealer had done the recall correctly. I didn`t have it fixed, I knew that it would fail the MOT which was due within three weeks, I sold it ... ...putting "Peugeot 307" into a search engine & look for the Pegueot 307 forum. 250,000 european 307`s are being recalled. If you have one of these cars and you have no problems at the moment, I would stongly advise you to ignore the recall notice as you WILL get it back with ABS problems or even something more sinister, My wife got to the stage where she started to refuse to drive the car in fear of the barkes not working. I explained to her that the ...

Quick review of Peugeot 307 SW 2.0 HDi
I have owned one for 2 years. It's economical (50 mpg on a long run), goes well with loads of torque , can carry 7 people (my family granny and grandad) and some luggage. The seating is really flexible, with all 5 individual rear seats being removable and interchangable. It has 3 point seat belts on all the rear seats. I can fit 3 full size child seats across the back. It has a CD changer and climate control as standard. It handles well, corners beautifully, and has an amazing full length glass panel in the roof that lets in loads of light, but that can be covered at the push of a switch.
Best family car I ever had. ...
