I bought an 02 plated 307 in Febuary this year, and never have I had so much fun from one car. It's a nippy little 1.6 and does about 46 mpg.

I did my research before I bought and was at first thrown off by the negative reviews I was finding, mostly about the handling and the reliability. But digging deeper I found so many good reviews and I spoke to a few people who have had or had one. I did a test drive and thought it was fantastic.

The good points: Its a cool little hatchback, and unlike its sister car the 206 is massive inside. it handles really well and responsively. Its 1.6 is really nippy and the insurance is cracking for the true size of the car. And to top it off its mpg's really mean i can rack up the miles.

The not so good bits: Its a bit of beast going into and through corners, I did see this on a few sites but the good outway the bad. There is also a common flaw with all 307's that no second hand ones have a skid pan (the plate underneath that hides the engine from the elements) this isnt a massive problem but may explain the poor cornering, and trying to find a replacement is proving to be a mammonth task!

All in all a cracking little car that isnt actually all that little!
