I have recently bought a 106 Quiksilver and I am just so pleased I did!! I think the car looks great with its silver paint and sporty exterior. It looks sporty without making you look too much like a boy racer, which I really didn't want. The interior is nice, with electric windows and CD Player. Advantages: small easy to drive and you can throw it around corners!
Disadvantages: if your a big shoper it doesnt have the boot space.

hi!iv had my 1.1 106 for about 5 months now as i wrote my 1.1 saxo off,lol,my 106 is way faster in exclaration and at the top end than any 1.1 saxo iv seen,even tho it aint had any engine modifications. the only problem that i have with it is that the air bag light keeps flashin and dnt no why otha than that its mint! iv only just started to modify my car so far iv put front and back agresion bumpers on it got the side scirts in the shed just need ... I agree with some others about some of the faults that some people have had with their 306 convertibles and i have had my roadster now for 6 months roughly and yes had some problems even as far as a new ecu...... But thats life, i blame most of my wee faults on previous owners neglecting the car and maybe some garages not doing the work right. I own a 2001 (Y reg) 1.4 LX I think it drives well, gear change can be a little slacky, but on the whole not to bad. This is my first car - so a nice car to have. Not had any major issues with the car - cheap to tax, in the cheap insurance bracket (altho not so cheap when your first car) :-) Petrol consumption is good - £40 pretty much lasts me a month and I do a lot of driving in it.
