Advantages: Nippy for a big car. Good diesel engine. Nice open layout Disadvantages: Slightly unwieldly due to size
I will start by saying that this car is a very good car, for many good reasons.
The best thing about people carriers is the ample space and clever seats. I love the idea of being able to rotate and remove seats to create a 'lounge' effect. Another good feature is the sliding doors which help in getting out in small car parking spaces!
Although there is not a lot of 'boot' space with all the seats up, but then again, ... ...lot of space either. Take the seats out and you get bags of room, enough even for a bed!
The model we have has all the equipment, cup holders for every seat, fold up tables, ample storage, all the thing parents need to keep the kids quiet. It even has a cigarette lighter in the back row for electronic device charging (hopefully not for smoking!).
The safety equipment is standard, front airbags, alarm, automatic engine ... more

Although there is not a lot of 'boot' space with all the seats up, but then again, when we had a Renault Espace we didn't have a lot of space either. Take the seats out and you get bags of room, enough even for a bed!

The safety equipment is standard, front airbags, alarm, automatic engine shut-off, full seatbelts to all but the middle seat.
The model we have is the Quicksilver, which is basically the same, but has some extras like armrest in the front and Quicksilver logo-ed cloth. The body is also sprayed silver. If you can, I would recommend paying a little extra for this nicer model.
The diesel engine in this model is a good engine with a fair bit of pulling power that can easily carry a full load. When you get onto the motorway, the engine is surprisingly quiet for a diesel and with the fuel consumption being 30 mpg plus in the town, it is a definite winner over a petrol model.
Overall, this car, although not the faster in the world, is a great all-around family car with good equipment and good layout. I don't like long car journeys, but I don't mind going in this.
Advantages: Spacious, Comfortable Disadvantages: Nothing to stop things rolling to front
Thought I'd give a review from a Womans perspective! I've owned my 806 srtd for about 6 months and I love it! We bought it second-hand and it needed a new power steering pump (bit of advice go through an independent garage not dealers as it cost half the price!) other than that it was pristine. Its a really nice drive, I was worried as i'm 5ft and it is quite big! Armrests on the front seat make it really comfortable for long journeys. Boot space ... ...if you remove 1 or both back seats it is huge. I found it strange having the handbrake on the right to begin with but you soon get used to it. The seats can be turned round to create a 'dining area' and the centre seat has a table on the back so its great for days out with the kids, no rushing to get back in if the weather turns bad (often in UK!). It can be expensive on diesel if only using for short journeys but then you get that with any car. ...

Advantages: Smooth reliable 1.9 Turbo diesel engine that you would expect from Peugeot Disadvantages: This is a people carrier and has very little storage space when all seats are fitted
We have owned a Peugeot 806 for about 18 months now. While the car is powerful enough to carry a full compliment of passengers be warned that there is not a lot of storage space. The name Peugeot goes with good reliable engines and the 1.9 TDI is no exception. Just remember that the key to making a diesel engine last is regular servicing, which doesn't come cheap from main dealers. The body is exactly the same as 1 or 2 other MPV's on the road ie ...

Advantages: Very spacious. Disadvantages: Expensive to run.
This car is stunningand a very talented people carrier that's good to drive and has a great drive. Vies with Ford Galaxy and Renault Espace as best in class. Sister model to Fiat Ulysse and Citroen Synergie. Great driving position, but odd dash-monted gearshift. This is best as turbo diesel. Then buying a second hand 806 check gear operation, internal damage, door functions, electrics. If you like this type of people carrier it is also worth considering ...

Advantages: Spacious, nippy, great family car Disadvantages: lack of cup holders
We have owned this car now for aout two years. We have a limited edition one. I just say this is the best car we have ever had. A very spacious family car. Even with all 7 seats in there is still quite a bit of room (big enough for my german shepherd to sit in). The front seats spin round, climate control, electric mirrors, sliding doors, fully adjustable drivers seat. The list is endless. The only thing that it does lack, is the amount of cup holders, ... ...row. Not good when you have 7 people in the car. Also I often find a bottle or childrens toys under my feet when i drive because they slide from the back of the car to the front. All I can say is take this car for a test run if you are interested in buying one, the drive is very smooth and has fantastic steering turn. Also if you do lots of short journeys in and around town, then it can get costly on fuel, but that doesnt surprise me when diesel ...
