I have been looking into buying a people carrier for a while now - but I am still confused over what one I should buy - I cannot buy one new ( cannot afford it)! So I have been looking at the second hand one's all the ad's sound great - but they are trying to sell me an expensive car £5,000 + So I an a little reluctant to believe everything they tell me!
I know this is supposed to be a review about Peugeot 806 but I am desperate and need some serious HELP! here - does anyone own one and can they tell me if they are as reliable as I am lead to believe?????

well, they weren't a lot of help were they?! Yes, buy an 806 they're great. I've had mine for 2 and a half years now, it's a 1996 model, (N reg) we got it for £6,000 so it would be well under £5,000 now. We have had no problems whatsoever, it's sailed through the MOTs and the only thing we've replaced has been the tyres. Fuel consumption is good, mine's a petrol 2.0 engine & we get upwards of 30mpg which is a lot better than the Audi I had before it. There's loads of room for the kids, I've got 3 so we leave the middle seat out which makes it seem a lot more light & airy. It's got sliding doors which is a must on a people carrier, otherwise you can't get in & out in a car park. Hope this helps, good luck!

Hi there, I'm not going to rate as this is supposed to be about the actual car and not asking for help. I would read the other reviews and see what they say. Having just bought a new car, second hand ones were around £8,000 so £5,000 may buy you one which is falling to bits. Love Louise
