    Advantages Advantages Space, reliability, performance (for a van, that is)

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Little more than a van conversion.

    I spent 20 years working in the motor trade with a decent company car, so, on semi-retirement, it came as a new experience to actually own my own. My wife and I had bought a small gift shop and reckoned we needed an estate car for humping stock etc. We went to our local Peugeot dealer one Sunday morning to look at the 307, saw the Partner and bought it there and then.     Advantages Advantages Loads of space, reliable, great economy

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not best looking car, only manual gearbox.

    This is not to get your sympathy, but I was burgled a few months ago. I reckon it must have been kids, because they didn't nick the telly or the video, just some cash. Anyway, I phoned the police and they sent round a nice lady to dust for fingerprints. She turned up in a Peugeot Partner, the van version of this the Partner Combi. Of course, her van was full of things like aluminium powder, ink, brushes and other scene-of-crime stuff. My Combi has windows and foldable rear seats. But there's still plenty of room to put things: two in-floor stowage bins, generous door pockets, another bin under ... more

    I've been driving my Partner 2.0 HDi for the past 5 years and it's turned out to be one of the most reliable vehicles I owned. Like a previous reviewer I walked into the Peugeot dealer to look at a new 206 and came out with the Partner Escapade... I bought it there and then. I liked the rear sliding doors and the space plus the fact that it was going to be a cheaper deal than the 206!! I've taken it down to the South of France 3 or 4 times over the last 5 years and have been able to pack everything but the kitchen sink into it with the rear seats folded down.
