Light bulbs are a necessity in a home and I have calculated that throughout my home I need around 25 bulbs! Not only do I need bulbs for my lamps and light fittings but also my sewing machine.
I struggled to find a 14 mm bayonet fitting bulb and so begrudgingly had to use a branded one that I knew would fit my machine. I have a Pfaff Hobby 1122 which houses a bulb in order to see the material together and it is quite necessary that this bulb is in working order.I struggled to find a bulb to fit and searched low and high in shops. I did find one easily on the internet though and paid £3.99 for the bulb, I was shocked at the price. As I bought it online, I had to pay postage!
The Pfaff bulb fits models: 1122, 1132, 1142, 1526, 1527, 1536, 1546, 1528, 1538, Select 2, Select 3, Select 4, 1548, Pfaff 7570.The light bulb I bought has the standard bayonet fitting and screwed neatly into the light fixture. The light bulb was a 15watt bulb and is fairly bright to say that it is so small. The light bulb felt fairly flimsy and when I looked at the filament, it looked like it would not last that long.
I use the bulb only a few hours a month and so far it seems to be performing quite well, despite being made out of very thin glass with a very thin, rattley filament.
