I phoned up philips when i had a problem connecting my old speakers to the back of my new monitors. The man on the other said "no problem, just buy our new range of speakers to fit this monitor, they only cost £20" so instead of getting help, i got a salesman. Not good!
The instructions were clear and easy to understand, i had no problem there. The steps were easy, bold and simple to read.

My monitor broke last month so i had to find a quick and cheap yet good standard monitor. Then i suddenly came across this little beauty. It was a little nifty one which caught my eye due to its cheap price tag.
Picture Quality The picture quality is good. It is bright and can be adjusted with ease to suit you own preferences. Personally, when i got it i needed to expand the screen size as it has a black border around the edge. But its only a minor problem and was easily fixed. The colours are vibrant as it runs on a 9000 K Colour quality setting for general use which doesnt make a huge difference to the already good colours on screen.
Design of Monitor It extends quite a bit far back but not in a chunky way. Philips have designed this monitor so it is curvy and not angular. The buttons fit in place well. All-round, the monitor is basic but not cheap looking.
Simple to use The monitor is easy to use as it only has 4 buttons (Power, Select and left/right) Onscreen controls are easy to follow and simple to use. I had no trouble.
When playing computer games... Refresh rate is decent, dont brilliant. It runs at about 35 Frames per second when playing Counter strike source. Which isnt bad. It produces no lag in the computer, so I see no need to give a bad point on a satisfactory Refresh rate.

This is a value monitor, most monitors cost about 140 quid dont they? Well this monitor only cost me £60. That is what caught my eye. If you want better then you better be prepared to fork out some extra cash!
I do recommend this monitor if you are looking for something simple and cheap but if not, then i highly recommend adding the extra £50-£75 for a top notch monitor instead.
