Advantages: Good idea, good appearance, excellent brand name! Disadvantages: Poor software, poor focus, requires more field testing...
...Philips have aquired a worthy reputation for many products, but not The ThumbsCam 1.3MP. Poorly written software which is slow to install, requires too many operator inputs and shows faults both on Win98SE and XP.
The image is soft and not focused. Picture quality appears poor, not what you might expect from 1.3MP. Sound quality is acceptable albeit insensitive compared to some other products.
Style and design of the camera is pleasing, however I should have preferred a wider clipping device to attach to a flat screen monitor.
The remote features of this camera are particually good. Pity that I never managed to delete files using the manual mode switch!
To summarise; look elsewhere until Philips make a better job of a good idea. Could do so much better!...

Advantages: High quality display, many photo playback modes, memory card support Disadvantages: Small memory capacity, high price
..., but then again you are not going to carry around a photo frame with you wherever you go. It has a USB interface which will allow you to connect the photo frame to a PC, therefore allowing you to upload photos from your PC to the photo frame. It also means that USB interfaced devices such as cameras, mp3/mp4 players, camera phones etc. will be able to connect to the photo frame. Which obviously means that you will be able to view your digital photographs through the Phillips photo frame.
The Phillips10FF2CME features an Auto power OFF function, which as you already guessed, switches off the gadget when the battery is about to die and also when you are charging the device in order to save power. The stand at the back of the photo frame can be adjusted to suit your needs or your viewing angle, depending on how you look at it. There is also a featured...

Advantages: very portable, easy to use Disadvantages: no flash
...This product is everything as described. Though this camera can only be used primarily outdoors, the quality is not bad at all. The only disadvantage is that there is no flash, which makes indoor shots dark and not in good quality. Other than that, this camera is great! It holds a lot of photos, and can just hang from your neck, very lightweight! It comes with software to enhance your photos, also, which can be a plus. Pictures are taken in 0.3 megapixel quality, but it's still very decent quality. The software is what enhances the pictures to 1.3 megapixels, so, Philips is true to their word on that, though the quality remains that of a 0.3 megapixel camera. Just make sure you read all the fine print before you buy the camera, because some people don't realize that there is no flash, but outdoor shots come out excellent....

I have fairly sensitive skin and up until now I have always used a wet shave razor. Wet razors didn't leave my skin burning, but they did leave the skin feeling very exposed and would cause it to dry out. Since I'd read that electric razors were good in... more
I was attracted to purchase this DVD player a while ago for its DivX capabilities (something not too many players have).

Having wet shaved my whole life, I've decided to invest for an electric dry shaver. Why? Because wet shaving is a pain for me (I switched from Gilette Fusion Power) and I simply don't have enough time to wet shave. Trying not to disappoint my first... more
