Disadvantages: Worked Well For A Few Days, Wouldn't Write Data, Specification Discrepancies, Nero Bundled Version.

...§~§~§~§~§~§~§~§ This is an ultra fast CD-ReWriter, at a very reasonable price. I was running mine on a lower specification than it says on the box, ALTHOUGH the set up installation wizard, states my specification is acceptable. Hhhmm. That could be why it wasn't up to the tasks. By rights, it should have been! Another reason it COULD have not been the writer for me, is the bundled software. I say this after reading some reviews concerning CD-ReWriters with their software conflicts. Bundled software isn't the full product. Plus the software used by Philips slowed the write speed down to unacceptable levels. I was unhappy also, that the time it reported the CD-R as "failed write", was after the CD had already been ruined by written data that far into the disc.
