REVISED REVIEW
I want to start this review with a strong suggestion: to avoid this philips monitor model (170C5BS). I had lots of trouble with it and they only ended because it was finally replaced with a different model. I let you read my experience which I hope will help you to have an opinion about it.

Advantages: Ease of installation Disadvantages: Poor authentication options, downloads fail.
...Bought this product from PC World, and when I opened the box I was initially impressed by its sleek looks and good build quality.

It is a simple 19" TFT from a leading manufacturer with a max resolution of 1280x1024/75hz and 8ms reponse time which is more than adequate.
Compatibility
It is plug and play compliant within windows, and shipped with a driver cd containing Smartmanage screen adjustment software along with the device drivers. (although both are largely unneccisary)
Within Windows XP and Vista ultimate (128mb graphics) the image is clear and crisp with no real setup/configuration required.
The monitor has outputs for both DVI and VGA, which means your upgrade ready should you be considering changing systems, whilst maintaining...
