... Well actually i love most Philips products, i have so many Philips things in my house. This tv looks great. Its 26 inch widescreen with a wide sturdy silver base which allows the tv to tilt backwards slightly. I'm, not sure by how much though. I'd say around 30 degrees.

market.Q: How do I choose the right size wall mount bracket for my LCD/Plasma TV? Is this TV Bracket compatible with my TV?A:Check the back of your TV and find the four threaded holes (if there is no threadedholes or less then four holes, then the TV is not classified as wall-mountable);Measure the horizontal and vertical distances between them (in mm); for example, horizontal = 400mm vertical =200mm;Select a bracket whose supported max. mounting-hole pattern is larger than one you have just measured; but the overall size should be smaller than the TV otherwise the bracket will be stickout from the back of the TV;You might also want to check whether the TV connections/ports is facing backward or not, if yes then do NOT select super slim wall brackets like PLB104 and PLB105 series because you might have great difficulties to get the cables into the slim space between the TV and wall.Don't just look at the TV sizes mentioned on the item title, it is only for general references.

General: I love this TV. Well actually i love most Philips products, i have so many Philips things in my house. This tv looks great. Its 26 inch widescreen with a wide sturdy silver base which allows the tv to tilt backwards slightly. I'm, not sure by how much though. I'd say around 30 degrees. The tv has a built in tv tuner which usually works fine except a couple of times if you turn the tv onto stand by with the digital turner on then when you turn the tv back on sometimes you will have to turn the tv off and back on at the wall as the freeview just goes fuzzy. But this has only happened once or twice and it may only be my tv.
Picture/Resolution: The picture is excellent for normal tv and digital. Images are crystal clear and the colours are perfect, very bight and look so realistic. The high definition of the TV is also brilliant. Even though it is not 1080p/i it is still 720p which is still excellent quality HD. The screen is so bright and crystal clear.
Connections: On the back of the tv there are a whole range of connections. I do not know what every single one does but i know most of them. There are 2 scart connections, 1 HDMI for connecting high definition players etc, 1 PC connection to connect a computer or laptop. The other few connections i'm not sure of. There is also the aeriel and power port. On the left hand side behind the speaker there are a couple of more connections, these are the red/yellow/white ports and a headphone soctet. The PC soctet comes with an adaptor to connect VGA cables so you can connect laptops. I have connected my laptop via the adaptor provided and it is brilliant. All the outputs such as scart, hdmi etc are all labled when you select the output button on the remote so you know what you are selecting. It also has the PC selection on it. It showed my laptop screen in brilliant resolution as my laptop is high definirtion it was so clear.
Sound Quality: The sound is very good through the two speakers, one either side in silver. They product very clear sound and would be good enough for a movie. But if you are watching a fast packed action film then i would recommend a set of surround speakers for perfect sound.
Remote control: The romote control is good looking and simple to use. The buttons are labeled and easy to use. It is quite a long remote but is quite thin so it is easy to hold. At the top is a stand-by button, then there is a selection button which allows you to switch between TV, DVD player and Satalite if you have these (they must work with Philips). There are then the four colour buttons (Red, Green, Yellow and Blue) and buttons such as teletext, analogue tv menu and digital tv menu and the analouge/digital switch button to switch between analogue tv (channel 1-5) and digital (freeview). There is then the channel buttons 0-9.
The on scren menu can be a bit difficult for some people to understand but i was ok. You have to use the up/down/left/right button and the select/ok button to go through the menu.
Summary I love this tv and have been very pleased with it. It has all the ports and connections you need, possibly could have more HDMI ports but its ok. The picture and sound quality is excellent. The tv looks great and is definitally worth the money. I bought the tv at a local shop in my town for around £420 which is a good price as the lowest i have seen was around £390 at Comet. I recomment this brilliant tv to anyone looking for a nice 26" tv.
Advantages: Picture Quality, Sound, Design Disadvantages: Remote is a little tricky to understand
I have had this TV for about 10 months now, and I have to say it has been one of my best buys.
The advantages of this TV are many. The most important is the picture quality- at a high resolution of 1366 × 768, you cannot go wrong. For all you PC gaming enthusiasts out there, I have connected my PC up to this TV, and played Unreal Tournament 2004, and the picture was superb. Trust me, I have a Samsung 730BF (4ms), and I know what good picture quality ... ...definition, which is great for the future or if you have Sky HD. The sound output of the TV is quite impressive for a 26inch. Still if you're a huge fan of sound, then I'd advise you to buy a sound system, otherwise this TV will do the job. There are also quite a few connections on the TV - 2 scart, one DVI, and an s video, which is great if you have many peripherals such as DVD players etc. The TV also has integrated free view, which is extremely ...
