This is an excellent example of Philips ingenuity. If you are about to consider changing to a larger screen size, then this 42' screen is well worth a closer look. It has a superb contrast ratio, which really improves the definition of the darkest and lightest images and displays striking colours that are lifelike and vibrant. The ease of installation is also a great benefit, whereby most settings can be achieved through a simple automatic process. Should you also be thinking of wall mounting this receiver, then you will be pleased to know that this particular model is thinner than many TV's currently available and also a lot lighter. The remote control has been well thought out with a special home button, which enables easy selection of external devices, like satellite boxes, digital receivers, DVD players and recorders or PC connection. In my personal opinion, Philips have come up with a real winner here. This is a television that I would definitely recommend.
