...The Phillips AZ 1004 is a very basic portable stereo with a radio, cd, and tape facility. The design is quite standard for this type of portable stereo, with a speaker on each end, cassette section in the middle at the front and the Cd player on the top in the centre. It has a large foldable carry handle and a small aerial. Phillips should note that this is probably the wrong way round, it should be a small carry handle and large aerial, not the other way round. The radio is only two bands, FM and MW, and is manual tune only, it is not digital tuning. The reception is not really up to much on this model, so I find it best to listen to radio stations that have a pretty good transmission power. ...Comes with a CD player, Remote Control, Single Cassette Desk, FM / MW Radio in a cool design at an affordable price. CD player supports both CDR and CDRW comes with all the basic features of shuffle / repeat etc. Easy to Use Player comes with a Digital Display which keeps you updated with the status of the system. Preset sound Configurations are good. The Dynamic Boost is acceptable. (Remember this is just a mini HiFi). Its quite easy to setup. Comes in three parts the Base Unit and set of speakers. Only Thing need to be connected are the speakers which connects at the back of the base unit and you are up and running. Remote Control is pretty basic and does it jobs. It does not match the quality of its Cousins the Main HIFI Range of Philips but for the price it’s A GOOD PRODUCT. I had if for a year now never had any problems with it.... Read review
