Digital Audio Broadcasting, known as DAB for short was developed by a consortium of manufacturers and broadcasters. Pioneered by the BBC, DAB radio broadcasts were first aired in 1995. Since then many new radio channels have joined the DAB revolution and wherever you can receive DAb broadcasts you will find a much wider range of stations to choose from than on a traditional FM radio.
By sending the radio signal digitally, listeners get crytal clear, interference free broadcasts of CD like quality. DAB radios have proved to be especially popular in the UK, with many portable units being housed in retro style casings designed to link this new technology to the bygone wireless radio heyday of years gone by.

*Introduction*
As you may, or may not, know both my family and I are great fans of anything made by Philips. We appreciate the quality and durability of all of the products they provide. I particularly like the styling and design of their product range. They are well planned and then well put together using top quality machines and materials. 2. quiet - being digital, it makes no sound. something one might consider for the baby's room.
3. easy to set up - AJ 3600 has on the sides several buttons ...
