Unlike the slightly cheaper walkmans the PHILIPS plays not only CDs and CDR but CDRW which is good for someone like myself. ...most expensive CD walkmans you are given a air of good quality headphones and a handy remote control which is very useful when your Cd player is in your bag etc.. Although it doesn't have a screen on the remote to tell you which track you are listening to. The remote has a play, stop, next/back a track and volume.
The actual walkman has mode changes like repeat, shuffle etc...
Just went out to Argos yesterday and waited ages but finally got my CD walkman!
On first glance it is a very good looking CD player which is not stupidly thick with a very good price tag.
The main differences between a cheaper walkman if in any doubt are the battery time, the thickness and the quality of the CD reader.
