the instructions and spec guide are not that helpfull but the helpline is if you have any queries.
the pc is solid built and good quality and philips have a partnership with iqon so you get the philips quality components.
it comes with standard 12mth guarantee.
iqon is based ireland and mainly sell through mail order catalogues and in some large tesco's the price i paid was £1000 and given the little extra that usualy gets added to catalogue prices i think it was a resonable price. there are cheaper lower spec pc's available from iqon also.
all in all this is a good pc witha good spec and build quality

Philips is one of the more realistic vendors when it comes to rating its camera's performance. It rates the PCA646VC at up to either 30fps or 15fps, depending on the size of the window in which the video is displayed. Smaller windows allow for higher frame rates, a fact that most vendors ignore in their ratings. And the type of connection through which you're transmitting the video has a great influence on frame rate--videoconferencing across the Internet generally doesn't provide frame rates much higher than 15fps, regardless of the camera's speed.
The PCA646VC relies on Microsoft NetMeeting for videoconferencing. The software is not included with the camera, but the camera requires Windows 98 for its USB support, and the Windows 98 CD-ROM contains a copy of Net...

...I received my Philips 200W6CS yesterday and am pretty happy with it so far, Having a widescreen does make quite a difference to me. The colours seem set more vibrant on this but apart from them being smaller there is really no real difference in the clarity of them compared to the Videoseven screen updated from.
I have tested the gaming performance and it is much improved on Freedom Force there is only a little loss of focus if you move the mouse from one side of the screen to another across buildings but it does not blur colours or blacks like before, with Prince of Persia WW it's much improved too, Before the Prince had a black afterglow around him now there is nothing I can see.
The monitor does have the much talked about Backlight bleeding issue as on the Dell monitors (in all four corners when screen is displaying black) Picture...
