The Philips Azur Excel Plus 525 was heavily advertised across out TV screens at one time as the iron that could push steam vertically like no other iron had done before. The famous advert of a lady holding the iron to a hanging curtain and shooting vertical jets of steam at it, made me all the more eager to purchase this rather ‘vogue’ featured iron. I have had my Philips iron for about a year and it is the longest I've ever had an iron. It is a cordless one which means that the wire doesn't get tangled and burst into flames like the rest of them have in the past. Although when you use it on cordless mode it tends to cool down very quickly so it is actually best use it as a normal conventional Iron. It is a steam Iron which makes ironing twice as easy and it has got quite a pointed end which makes it very good at getting into tight little places and creases.
