I bought this as I needed a room thermometer for our baby's room in order to regulate his temperature so that he didn't get over hot or too cold in the night. And to be honest it did the job. It allowed you to check quickly and easily whether he might be too hot or too cold and to adjust the room to suit. E.g. open a window etc. I personally think room thermometers are a must. As adults we sometimes feel warm but the room is too cold for a baby, I think babies are far more sensitive to changes in temperature than an adult. The only problem I had was that it was a little bit expensive, but to be honest I found it difficult to find another one to buy, they just didn't seem available. Bath With The Fishes

Fish Bath Thermometer by Nscessity I personally love to have nice hot baths and showers and since the midwife had been round to show me how to bath Jack I had decided to give him a bath every night as part of his bedtime routine. /this has been really beneficial and perhaps helped him to sleep pretty much through the night. I was shown to test the bath water by dipping in my elbow and from this you are meant to gage whether the water is too hot or too cold. Now I don't know about anyone else but I would never make the bath too cold but I would make a nice warm bath for Jack. But too warm is the question. I seem to have no real sense of feeling in my elbows and anything feels cool if its not boiling to me. Grobag egg thermometer really glows on you!

Grobag thermometers are an opportunity for the Grobag empire to persuade you to part with even more of your money to buy lovely stylish versions of things you can buy cheaper elsewhere but don't want to once you've seen these! This is a funky, egg-shaped room thermometer. It glows to show you the temperature, so you don't have to faff around on the dark trying not to wake up a baby while trying to read some tiny digital display. It does have a display as well, but the colour tells you what you need to know - blue is below 16 degrees celsius (and too cold), yellow is 16-20 celsius, orange is 20-25 celsius and red is above 25 celsius and is too damned hot by far. Apparently babies are happiest when they're between 16 and 20 degrees, and of course we're all terrified of cot death and most people now know that one of the risk ...
