If you could find it for £150 then its a 'deffo', but it's probably not worth the £250 that i paid for it. Get a cheaper - maybe second hand - flat screen and upgrade more often.

For quite a while i've been looking around casually, wanting to upgrade my computer. I got onto ebay (as you do) and bought a grand selection of graphics cards sound cards, RAM and a new Harddrive.

My next thought was, this isn't going to make my computer any better looking, with that breeze block as a screen.

This is when i first thought about buyin a flatscreen, and believe it or not, i bought this not because i knew much about it, but because of its name.

Possibly its best selling point Phillips BRILLIANCE. You don't get much wittier than that.

Now, onwards to its functionality.

Resolution and clearness
The highest around for a reasonable price. The resolution goes higher than any current game requires and certainly high enough for anybody wanting a quality display. Because of this high resolution, the screen is pixel (sorry) clear. When you look at the screen you feel and odd sensation of extreme happiness. Like that lady who eats muller yoghurt.
(the pixel width is just over 0.25mm, some on now... that's small as a peanut - and clear as the morning gew)

Colours
Supports 24 bit. High enough for you, high enough for me... but not quite high enough for NASA

Speakers
As you'd expect, not the highest quality, but better than pretty much every other built in speakers that i've come across (not all that many to be honest). You should also be wary, i am comparing these speakers to my Mum's £100 surround sound, so they're pretty good.

Power Consumption - Energy Efficiency
Doing my background reading i have found out that this particular package is 20% under the average for energy consumption. It's a lush screen that uses less than 80% of most other screens energy - and it includes speakers. That's pretty lush, but probably makes around 30 pence difference to your electricity bill. It's a 30 Watt screen.
Every little helps though (SAVE THE WORLD)
