Advantages: Caller Display Disadvantages: Battery life, ringtones, screen, one handset broken and no longer rings. Cheap, tacky feel
I would never buy another Philips Dect phone. Since we have bought our dual set, we have not been happy with it. At first, it was simply a matter of battery life. We would take the phone off the hook at full battery power, make a call and after forty-five minutes, the battery would be irritatingly bleeping because it has almost run out.
Since, however, the problem has become worse. One of the two phones no longer rings or displays Caller ID and the sound when answering a call is extremely muffled. So we now have to carry one phone around the house with us, which beats the object of the 'Duo' idea. And of course, with that phone off the hook for long periods of time, the battery life is an annoying factor.
The Caller Display is the only good thing about this phone, which also has a poor choice of ringtones, a small non-colour screen ...
Advantages: Light weight and good looking Disadvantages: slow buttons and menu
I had a Philips Onis 2 which I loved but when that died I needed a new phone and thought I would go back to trusted Philips for my new one. The best thing about this phone is that there is a speaker phone in the handset so you can be anywhere in the house and put the phone on speaker and talk to it instead of holding it to your ear! FANTASTIC!!!!
The duo pack has a base unit with answering machine and a single phone for another room which only needs a power source (no phone line) so this is an excellent way to save trailing phone cable all through the house.
I have the silver model phone which looks great and has an answering system on the base unit. It is small and compact and is pretty discreet. It is generally easy to use - but I did have to read the manual (which I generally try to avoid).
When dialing the phone ...
Advantages: Highly Pigmented and Easy to use. Disadvantages: Isn't as crease proof as they make out..
friendly makeup, you can feel almost saintly as E.L.F are 100% against animal testing, and according to a little symbol on the back of their packaging they also support charities, so double kudos to E.L.F
(Sorry, I cheated and stole this off my other E.L.F review!)
Packaging
The packaging on the duo cream eyeshadow, like on all the other E.L.F products, is pretty basic. It's a small palm sized black pot (roughly 4/5cm circle) with a simple screw off lid.
The lid has a clear plastic circle in it where you can see the colour of the cream shadow inside.
The only writing on the packaging is 'e.l.f Duo Eye Shadow Cream' so although the packaging is very basic, it kind of has a chic minimal feel to it.
