Advantages: Store yor data, free your hard drive Disadvantages: come on a spindle and have no cases
...I recently managed to fill up my 80GB Hard drive with all sorts of rubbish and needed some CD's to store my information on. Usually I would buy them from Tesco's, but as I was In a hurry I popped into my local computer retailer (Northbridge Computers in Lowestoft) to see what he had available. All he had on this occassion was TDK CD-R80 discs. There was single CD's in cases, boxs of ten in cases and spindles of twenty-five and one hundred. I plummeted for the spindle of twenty-five as I wasn't rich enough at the time to buy the big fat one hundred spindle.
***Product***
The disc's themselves are light blue with a silver swirl on it. TDK CD-R80 is clearly stamped on it. There is plenty of room to write on them and they can store up to 700MB of data or 80 minutes recording time. They are ideal for backing up files, pictures, photos...

Advantages: Sound quality, remote control, aux in for iPod, bright display Disadvantages: no clock or sleep function
...One of the best electronic purchases I have made. If you love your music then you could do far worse than to invest in one of these. Its is in a similar price bracket to current DAB radios already, but this also features an FM radio, a CD player and superior sound quality. The unit also comes with a remote control, very handy if you are listening in bed and just don't want to get out. The remote control does not just adjust volume, but also cycles through DAB radio stations and operates the CD player too.
The unit has a backlit screen so you can see what is displayed even in low...

Advantages: too many to list Disadvantages: short battery life
...The Philips EXP431 Portable MP3 CD player lets you play self-recorded CDs with stacks of your MP3 tracks. A standard CD-R is capable of storing over three hours worth of MP3 files. There’s Digital Dynamic Bass Boost and Advanced Electronic Skip Protection to stop the cd skipping, even when jogging. One set of batteries gives you eight hours of mobile sound and best of all they're rechargeable so you don't have to buy new ones. And for those wanting to listen at home, a mains adapter is included in the box.
i am truly amazed by this product! its just so small! u really don’t expect it to be quite as small as it is. The esp is amazing but u don’t even need it! Because of the size of the cds they are held so securely that it never ever skips even without the esp on when u shake it about loads! You can fit 50 tracks on one little cd which...
