...We bought the Philips Onis 2 dect cordless phone as a replacement for another Philips dect phone (the Xalio - also very good). The attraction of the Onis 2 was the built in answering machine and caller display unit. This got rid of two surplus "boxes" on the table, making it a lot neater. The phone performs superbly with good call quality and a long range - adequate for most houses and gardens. You can assign extra handsets to the base unit, so there are fewer wires running around the house. The phone has a small footprint on the bench, and all of the functions are controlled from the handset, including the answering machine. If you're are put off by the price, don't be - you won't regret the purchase.... Read review

...The phillips kala is an extremely good dect phone. I have owned one noe for aproximately one year and i have never had any problems or faults with it. The Kala has many features including. Music On Hold, Caller Display and a call transfer facility. The phone can go for upto 300 metres before it starts to become patchy but is still good.In comparison to the other dect phones i have seen and used i would rate the kala very good on looks and use in comparison to the other cheaper models such as the kala. If i had to by another dect phone or reccomend one to somebody it would definately be the kala.... Read review

Advantages: Excellent Sound Quality, Very Simple, Loads of Features.
Disadvantages: Digital Screen Size.

...The Phillips Dect 121 Duo. A simple and easy layout phones with fantastic sound and voice quality. One of the main features of the phones are that you get two wireless phones and only one of them has to be pluged into a phone socket. The other can be anywhere as long as it is pluged in. No other are cables required. Another key feature of these phones is that if one is lost, all that needs to be done is to press the button on the main pluged in charger point for it and it will automatically sound the two phones for you so that the other phone can be found. Another point about this product is that ringtone can be changed when the phone is being rang.
