Advantages Plays All Formats.........Ridiclous Low Price Now...

Disadvantages None Really

This little slimlne beauty was bought on impulse whilst Xmas shopping in Boots last year

Well sort of..

We have a Sony SLV-900 as our main unit in the lliving room,which is combi unit of DVD/Video.

Which to be honest,we have never been really happy with.

Sony have fallen from grace in our household.

So we were on the lookout for another unit and came across this Philipps DVD 625 at the then low price of £89:99.

We read the box and could not believe that this machine does an awful lot more that our very expensive Sony.

This Phillips DVD 625 plays everything..

I was half expecting in to have a Cash Dispenser too .

So it was taken home lifted out of it's box and plugged in.

So easy to set up.
So easy to use..
Simple remote control
Easy On Screen Displays
Slimline as you could really want.

10 minutes later and its up and running perfectly and has been ever since.

It is still in our living room and the Sony has been relegated to our bedroom.where it will stay.

I have just seen this product on line at Comet for £49:99.

What more can you ask for ?

Might even buy another one for myself...

    I actually need a new DVD player soon, though I think I'm more tempted to get a DVD recorder, or DVD / Hard Drive Recorder...

    Helpful review but I watch all my DVD's on my ps2
