I use a personalized firmware, with bigger fonts. It was a good decision to buy this unit, I have absolutely no complaint. I use a 4gb Kingston flash pen. Nice remote, phlips had some nasty remote designs. Also, cd ripping feature. I don't use this, but it's a nice feature for this price range.
