Advantages: Good focus and colour definition at a good prive Disadvantages: Doesn't support all resolutions and poor menu system

Now you'll be sat looking at it thinking great, how do I adjust the picture? Either use the Auto button which is a real god-send ... it does it all for you. However, if this doesn't work you're in real trouble. The menu system to adjust the picture is stretched and isn't particularly up to the job. It also lacks some functionality, like size of picture and the brightness/contrast controls are weak.

Mine had one dead pixel which I really don't notice. The picture really is 15" (measured it with a ruler) and it truly fits the screen with little/no black edges like the traditional CRT monitors. Another good design feature is the nice curved rear to cover the ugly screws. This also neatly pops off, revealing 4 standard holes which you could screw it to a wall with etc
Colour definition is great, I play plenty of games with mine. Refresh rate is also ample for playing DVD's without seeing any ghosting etc. Horizontal viewing angles are good, but sadly if you're not at the same level as the screen the colours look a real mess. The built in stand smoothly provides both vertical and horizontal swivel. My only gripe is that it only support two resolutions. Don't bargain on playing those classic DOS games or using 3D modelling packages with this screen.
No manual with my screen, but manufacturer support on their site is fairly good. It has all the information you need on the screen and its specifications, but sadly doesn't go as far as including the contents of the full printed manual which would be very useful when buying second hand.
When you turn off your computer, the monitor tells you it's going to sleep and powers itself off. The response time to being awoken again is lightningly fast. Turn the machine back on and it will wake up in about a second.
Overall, its a great screen with good colour definition, focus and a wide viewing angle. This is enhanced by a small footprint. Sadly this is let down by not having enough details on their web-site, poor on screen controls and not enough resolutions (supporting only 800x600 and 1024x768). I would still recommend it as you can pick one up from eBay for less than £200, mine was £130!
Advantages: A space-saving, valuable flat-screen 15" TFT monitor. Disadvantages: Screen gets bright if you're higher than the monitor; gets dark when you're low, balanced when you're on eye-level.
Since I work at home, I've had my fair share of these CRT Monitors that make you tired, dry-eyed and suffer from eyestrain (reduces your time watching the screen).
Bought this monitor from PC World two years ago; never had any problem with it since. The price was £299.99 and I added a three-year insurance on it (one-year on manufacture's guarantee).
My desk is 33 inches long and this 150S monitor is 30 inches away from my nose, but if I still had ... ...I gained an extra 10-inch distance for the sake of tiredness and eyestrain and now I can work longer than I usually did with that old CRT BOX.
It's perfect for watching DVD movies on your PC, playing games or other graphical work. It's powerful enough to work on a 60hertz mode (refresh rate), with a resolution of 1024x768 Desktop screen size (pixels), the image is smooth and it is quite different than 40hertz (or less) CRT monitors.
This monitor ...

Advantages: smart, compact, clear image and reliable Disadvantages: resolution capabilities
I bought my Phillips Flat Panel as part of a computer package for going off to university, knowing I would need a reliable computer and screen to do all me work on and it has prroved a great buy.
First impressions of this monitor are that it is light, fits into a nice neat small space leaving more room on your desk for other things. It's white frame is clean and modern and although it is quite wide it is not bulcky or ugly and doesn't detract from ... ...having a Flat Panel monitor are obvious, with desk space being freed up for more computer accesseries. Monitors like this however often only last a few years because, unlike the traditional larger monitors, they do not have a hard protective panel over the screen.
At the same time as I purchased this monitor may parents bought a similar Flat Panel Monitor from a different company and within 3 months had to take it back because pixels began to fade ...
