Eton FR250 Emergency Radio

Advantages: Easy to use, sensitive world-band receiver
Disadvantages: No Clock & Not water-proof, but a sundial & plastic bag fixes that!

Feather-weight Radio with a big green heart! This Eton FR250 packs a lot of performance in a small form factor (about six inches square and under 2 inches thick). Reception is good for its price-range, and large chunky controls are easy to use - even with gloves! The FR250's greenest feature is its wind-up power generation mode, pitched by Eton as an "Emergency Radio, the wind-up power feature is also a great way to stay warm & focused in cold conditions! Other Emergency features include a bright LED torch, Flashing Red beacon and a ear-piercing Siren to attract attention in difficult rescue locations. Its Emergency status is bolstered by an external port which can charge a mobile phone from the FR250's own power-generator, and be powered by an external mains transformer, or only three AA batteries if available in the urban ...

ROLAND FR-3S PIANO ACCORDION

Advantages: TOO MANY TO LIST!!!
Disadvantages: BELLOWS CAN BE A BIT STIFF WHEN NEW.

The Roland fr-3s is the little brother to the fr-7 V-accordion, yet it is no small fry having a full 120 bass section, with seven registers and keyboard of 37 treble keys with ten registers and a dazzling array of features and sounds, it is lightweight and fully portable due to the built-in speakers and battery option. (It takes ten AA size battery's if you would want to use this function, and lasts up to two and a half hours depending on the batteries used.) Although I do generally plug mine into the mains. The electronic wizardry in this instrument means you can select from ten different accordion types, each with its own associated registers and to the ear is indistinguishable from its acoustic cousins, and as if that was not enough, it boasts several orchestral sounds including violin, steel guitar and choir. The fr-3s also has ...

Philips Electric Shaver

Advantages: Built In Conditioner, quiet, stylish, effective
Disadvantages: Bit of a hassle to clean

and colours. The feel of it is very comfortable on the hand and is easy to grip, due to slight ridges around the back of the shaver. This also makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, which i would say is one of the most important factors in something that is to be used daily. Also, obviously, it must be good at its job. Which this shaver is. It did a very good job, and was the closest shave i have ever had. I was previously using a gillette mach 3 razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance. I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features. Moving around the jaw bone and cheek bones, means that it gets alot closer to the skin ...
