LG are at it again coming to us with another incredible mobile phone, which is quite astonishing. The new LG KE970 Shine is the first of the shiny devices from the Korean manufacturer. It really does have some serious horsepower in this thing and is one of the most advanced GSM handsets by LG and quite obviously from the images below the most attractive. The phone comes with a huge amount of features from the 2 mega pixel camera with auto focus right the way don to the microsd memory card. Advantages: Easy to use, sensitive world-band receiver Disadvantages: No Clock & Not water-proof, but a sundial & plastic bag fixes that!
Feather-weight Radio with a big green heart!
This Eton FR250 packs a lot of performance in a small form factor (about six inches square and under 2 inches thick).
Reception is good for its price-range, and large chunky controls are easy to use - even with gloves!
The FR250's greenest feature is its wind-up power generation mode, pitched by Eton as an "Emergency Radio, the wind-up power feature is also a great way to stay warm & focused in cold conditions!
Other Emergency features include a bright LED torch, Flashing Red beacon and a ear-piercing Siren to attract attention in difficult rescue locations. Advantages: TOO MANY TO LIST!!! Disadvantages: BELLOWS CAN BE A BIT STIFF WHEN NEW.
The Roland fr-3s is the little brother to the fr-7 V-accordion, yet it is no small fry having a full 120 bass section, with seven registers and keyboard of 37 treble keys with ten registers and a dazzling array of features and sounds, it is lightweight and fully portable due to the built-in speakers and battery option. (It takes ten AA size battery's if you would want to use this function, and lasts up to two and a half hours depending on the batteries used.) Although I do generally plug mine into the mains.
The electronic wizardry in this instrument means you can select from ten different accordion types, each with its own associated registers and to the ear is indistinguishable from its acoustic cousins, and as if that was not enough, it boasts several orchestral sounds including violin, steel guitar and choir.
