The steam ready control takes 2 minutes, so I switched it on and by time I had got my basket of ironing it ... ...lock (this makes the steam continuous) and also comes with cord and hose storage. It has a digital control panel

This is the scary part - it cost £199.79, that's why it was a gift! That was also the cheapest we could get it.

The cost: This is the scary part - it cost £199.79, that's why it was a gift! That was also the cheapest we could get it.

The Value for Money: Well I was impressed! This is something that time will judge although I got breakdown cover for just £44 for 3 years.
Overall: I really like this iron and I can see myself sneaking over my mums more to use it! It looks elegant and stylish!

Advantages: Shiny uncreased clothes in about half the time. Disadvantages: Slightly noisy when the water is heating up
of pressure (3.5 bars) on wrinkles, straightening them in no time. There are several models of this iron available in the market: PhilipsGC7230, PhilipsGC8220, PhilipsGC8261 and PhilipsGC9040. All of these products work on the same principle. However, differences lie in the water tank capacity, steam pressure, continuous steam capability and last but not the least, the price (ranging from 75.00 to 250 ponuds). The higher the steam pressure better is the action on stubborn creases.
Overall, I love this iron and recommend it to everyone. Here are some of the positives and negatives.
Positives:
1. Shiny uncreased clothes in about half the time.
