Advantages: Powerful, easy to use. Disadvantages: not any.
PhilipsGC8261 is nice iron by Philips.It is easy to use.It has simple instructions for use.Ironing is easier.It has digital steam control.The steam ready control takes 2 min. to prepare.It has a storage stand.It also has steam lock.It has cord & hose storage.It has digital control panel.It is very stylish. The base stand for the iron has see through front where water is stored and it makes it look nice.It use tap water. It has 5 bar steam pressure which make iron reach in every part of farbic.It has 120g/ per min. continus steam. Small foot prints makes it fit on any ironing board.Easy calc clean- simply rins the boiler every 10 times of use.

seems to have no resistance at all to my clumsy ironing techniques. The steam-resistant ceramic-coated soleplate is specially designed to glide effortlessly across all fabrics, resulting in powerful crease removal.
The iron is really easy to clean - de-scaling takes place in under two minutes without the need to buy hard-to-find items like anti-scale cartridges.
My mother was very impressed with the PhilipsGC7220 Steam Generator, so she will be a proud owner of one, or one like it very soon.
Love it.
Can't say I love ironing any better, but at least I go through it faster and with less stress than before. ...
