seems to have no resistance at all to my clumsy ironing techniques. The steam-resistant ceramic-coated soleplate is specially designed to glide effortlessly across all fabrics, resulting in powerful crease removal.
The iron is really easy to clean - de-scaling takes place in under two minutes without the need to buy hard-to-find items like anti-scale cartridges.
My mother was very impressed with the PhilipsGC7220 Steam Generator, so she will be a proud owner of one, or one like it very soon.
Love it.
Can't say I love ironing any better, but at least I go through it faster and with less stress than before. ...

- the iron heats really fast, - 3m cable - very useful thing, - quite big steam output and shot
