In the past I've bought Phillips irons and they have lastest for a long time my last iron was on its way out after a good five years of use so i decided to upgrade to this iron.
The iron inself is very attractive the design is great. When switched on the water tank illuminates a soft bright blue light which is a great safety feature to let you know that the iron is switched on.Also if you leave the iron it has a setting to automatically switch itself off after a length of time.
Another great feature is that if you anything like me and you acciendtly knock the iron off the ironing board it also has a automatic switch off so you wont ruin your carpet.
The water tank holds around 350ml water tank and also has water level indicator.
Other features included in the iron is it has Vertical steam for any curtains etc. The steam output is4 0g/min steam output and 100g/min shot of steam.
It also has a Anti-scale feature an Anti-drip feature and the great thing is it has a Heat protective cover - which allows instant storage of a hot iron to avoid any little hands from touching it. The iron also has a Calc-Clean feature and a ceramic soleplate.
The cord for me is the only disadvantage because it is 3m is length which i am not used to but it comes with Cord storage.
And a another great advantage for me is the iron is nice and weighty the weight is 1.56kg. which makes for a great iron to help get the creases out . Another advantage on this iron it has Easy Reach Steam Tip which means you can iron in all the hard to reach areas.
With this iron my iron time i know feel is cut in half. so would recommend this iron to anyone i hope i have helped you with this review.
