I hate ironing. If it was socially acceptable to wear my shirt looking like a sheet of crete paper, i would, but its not. So to partake in this most loathed of tasks, i decided to invest in a good iron, no, in fact, a great iron. See, for me, a product such as an iron should make the job pleasurable, or at the very least, a breeze, and the Philips Azure Iron ticks both of them boxes. The Iron has a ceramic ironing plate, which translates as 'glides across your clothes'! It makes the action of ironing effortless. My shirts can be ironed and on in a matter of moments. The other great feature of this iron is the many functions that it has built in for steam ironing. You can iron without steam, with a little steam, or with enough steam to drive a train. It has a lot of options; which is my point. The choice is yours completely. Now to the most important feature of this iron; its looks. Spot on! With its predominately black and grey body, it is a nice change to the usual decoratif of white appliances. I have only one gripe about this product, and it is very minor. Their is a cleaning process that you must undertake regularly, to keep the steam ing mechanism working properly. I forgot to do this once, and my shirt had to go back through the wash due to the iron depositing some dark matter on my top! Minor problem, no staining, but a pain at the time. All in all, an impressive product, at a price that wont break the bank, but will make you look all neat and tidy for work; its job after all!
