For around £80, you can get a brand new iPod Nano 4th generation, or this. Well, it's obvious which is better to go for. The Philips is a disappointing attempt on making an MP4 player, due to the fact it's slow, the shiny back is a scratch magnet (Looks like a cheap copy of iPod Classic there) And completely unresponsive controls. Making the GoGear more of an inconvienience than anything else. It's rather stylish, when you first get it that is, after about a week, the back will be completely scratched and the device will look about a year old. Which is clearly very irritating. Philips is without a doubt a worldwide recognizable electronics brand, chances are you own at least one of their items. The item itself may not be spectacular in any way, it just works and you can't really find any reasons to complain about it. Philips are not leaders in any of their markets, they're not innovators, they don't offer the best quality products, you're not even cool among your friends if you own a Philips product - Everything they do is average from almost points of view and god damn reliable.
