In the past I have owned an iPod Nano and using iTunes to transfer music can be difficult if you're not that good with computers.
I love using my Philips Go Gear, as it is so portable. The player its self has a very simple design and the player is very durable. The menu is very simple and easy to understand. The video quality isn't excellent but is ok to watch. The music quality is very good and finding music is not a problem. Instead of browsing by song you can also browse by artist, album and much more.
You can even make a playlist with your favourite songs. The battery life is average. You can watch up to 4 hours of video playback or 15 hours of music playback. With 1 GB of memory you can hold about 400-500 songs which is plenty. Viewing pictures is very easy. You simply click on picture on the menu and you can view all of your favourite pictures.
Overall the Philips Go Gear 1 GB is great and easy to use. I recommend this product to all potential buyers.
