I bought this kettle nearly 7 years ago and it is still going strong!
It is a cordless one and so it makes it really easy to pour from without getting tangled in flex, and it has a filter which is an essential extra when you live in a hard water area like Lincolnshire.
I have never had any trouble with it and I am only on my second filter, having had to buy a replacement one beacue I accidentally tore the first while vigorously cleaning the scale from it. My fault, not Philips!!
I strongly recommend this kettle as it is pretty much as good as they get and only costs about £30.
