Advantages Looks great and is cordless.

Disadvantages Can be heavy when full.

I would just like to add once the kettle is full with water it is very heavy, People with wrist problems could not take the weight.
But as the base contains a flat concealed element it allows it to bboil with very little water in. This is good for the environment as it reduces the amount of energy required to boil a cup of water.
It does take longer to boil than a more modern kettle but the looks of the kettle compliment any kitchen.
Stainless steel cleaner seems the best product to use to keep the kettle clean and sparkling. Limescale marks the kettle quite easily. If living in a soft water area this is less of a problem.
I thoroughly recommend this kettle check ebay for the best prices or possibly amazon.
