I recently bought this kettle at Comet for £24.99. It has a maximum capacity of 1.7L and has levels clearly indicated up the side. It is a cordless kettle which sits neatly on top of the power source. The element is fully concealed within the inside base of the kettle. One point which may be seen from the diagram is that the kettle is a white thick plastic but then with a more transparent plastc rim round the handle and spout which I think looks a bit cheap. On the plus there is a metallic water filter inside the kettle which can be replaced however, I removed it as it made the water taste strange therefore ruined my tea! An imortant downside is the short power cable - meaning the kettle has to be positioned quite near the socket. An important advantage is that at 3000 watts it boils water very quickly.
