Advantages: extract juice from many types of fruit Disadvantages: Bulky, huge, must peel the oranges, makes a lot of froth, time-consuming
...Let me state first what I wanted this juice extractor for: I like having a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast. I currently use a Philips comfort citrus press which requires cutting the oranges into halves and manually pressing them down. I really fancied the type of juice extractors I have seen in bars: all is required is to drop the whole orange in and juice comes out at the other end (quickly & no effort).
This is not what the Breville Anthony Worrall Thompson Juice Extractor JE15 does !
It seems that the fruits are grated and spun to maximise the juice extractions (I thought the extraction was via a press): this means that the oranges (and other citrus fruits) have to be peeled first.

Advantages: Light, great shave, holds charge well Disadvantages: Expensive to run if not looked after
...I picked up one of the is the reduced section of a Boots Store: the store had had a refit and they were getting rid of loads of goodies. The usual price in Boots is about £100; I got it for £37.

Compared with the older models, this new one is much lighter and easier to handle. It's also a trendy...

Advantages: Steam tip; Easy to fill; Decent size water tank; Good results. Disadvantages: None so far.

So with a budget of €60, I scoured the Argos catalogue and reviews on Ciao. The Argos catalogue has a method of rating irons based on the amount of steam they produce, and the grade of the soleplate - with ceramic being the best.
So eventually I picked out the Philips Azure as best value for my budget, and sent my husband to queue in Argos for said iron. Being the wonderful man that he is, he actually came back with the object of this review - the Philips GC4311 - as it was on sale from €90 to €45. So I actually got a more expensive iron for less than my budget - always a plus...
